Product Availability

At Laminar Flow Design, when a product is marked as “In Stock”, it is genuinely in stock and ready to ship.

As a general rule, we do not offer pre-orders. On the rare occasions when we do, this will always be clearly indicated on the product page.

We believe in keeping things simple and transparent. If you order an available product, you can be confident that it is physically in our inventory.

Order Processing & Dispatch

All orders are prepared and shipped from Belgium.

We do our best to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, usually within 1–3 working days after payment confirmation.

On rare occasions, particularly during busy periods or holidays, dispatch may take up to 5 working days.

Laminar Flow Design is a small, independent business, and every order is personally prepared with care. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Please note that these are estimated processing times, not guaranteed delivery dates. International transit times depend on the destination, shipping service, customs procedures and local delivery conditions.

Shipping Methods

We work with bpost, the Belgian postal service, for our international shipments.

Two shipping options are available:

bpack World Business – Our standard international shipping service.
bpack World Express – Our express international shipping service, with delivery handled through bpost’s international partners, including DHL where applicable.

All our shipments include tracking and shipping insurance, subject to the carrier’s applicable coverage conditions.

We take great care when preparing orders, and our experience with lost or damaged shipments has been exceptionally positive, with such incidents remaining extremely rare.

Packaging & Quality Control

Every product is inspected before dispatch to ensure that it meets our quality standards.

Our resin conversion sets often contain small and delicate components. Each order is therefore carefully packaged to provide appropriate protection during international transport.

We know how important these products are to our customers, and we treat every order with the attention it deserves.

Delivery Issues, Damage & Quality Concerns

Despite all our precautions, occasional problems can happen.

If your parcel is delayed, lost, arrives damaged, contains a defective or missing part, or if you encounter any other quality-related issue, please contact us first:

To help us resolve the situation efficiently, please include:

Your order number.
A short description of the issue.
Clear photographs of the product and its packaging, whenever possible.

Please retain the original packaging until the issue has been resolved, where reasonably possible.

We will investigate the situation and work with you to find an appropriate solution, including replacement, repair or refund where applicable.

Our shipping insurance provides additional protection, but does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

VAT, Customs & Import Duties

Applicable VAT is included in our prices wherever legally required.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees and other local charges may apply. Unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are not included in our prices or shipping fees.

Any such additional charges, where applicable, are the responsibility of the recipient.

We strongly recommend checking with your local customs or tax authorities before placing an international order to understand any potential additional costs.

Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Right of Withdrawal

We understand that you may occasionally change your mind about a purchase.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, subject to the applicable legal exceptions.

How to Request a Withdrawal

You can exercise your right of withdrawal in one of the following ways:

Withdraw from contract: Click the "Withdraw from contract" link in the footer of our website to submit your request online.
Track withdrawal status: If you have already submitted a request, click "Track withdrawal status" in the footer to check its progress using your withdrawal reference and email address.
Manual withdrawal form: Download and complete our Standard Withdrawal Form, then email it to mathieu@laminarflowdesign.com.

You may also notify us of your decision by email using any clear and unambiguous statement. You do not have to use the standard form.

Returning Your Products

Once you have notified us of your decision to withdraw, you must return the eligible products within 14 calendar days.

For returns made simply because you have changed your mind, return shipping costs are your responsibility.

Please package the products carefully to prevent damage during transport. You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Please contact us before returning an order so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

Refunds

Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, refunds include the product price and the original standard delivery charges. Additional charges resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method are not refundable.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after we have been informed of your decision to withdraw.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise, without additional fees.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Certain statutory exceptions may apply, particularly to products genuinely made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised.

These exceptions do not affect your statutory rights regarding defective or non-conforming goods.

Defective or Incorrect Products

Returns involving defective, damaged or incorrect products are handled separately from returns made because you have changed your mind.

If you receive a defective product, damaged components, missing parts or an incorrect item, please contact us before sending anything back.

We will review the situation and arrange an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, without charging you costs that are legally our responsibility.

Your statutory rights, including the two-year legal guarantee of conformity for new consumer goods under Belgian law, remain fully protected. Further details are available in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
