Make one of the most challenging areas of the Tamiya F-4 Phantom easier to assemble with this one-piece seamless intake from Laminar Flow Design!

The original Tamiya 1/32 F-4 Phantom features multi-part air intake assemblies that require careful alignment, gluing and filling. A particularly prominent seam at the forward junction can be difficult to eliminate, especially inside the narrow intake duct.

The LFD32-008 Seamless Intake replaces this complicated assembly with a single precision 3D-printed resin component, featuring a smooth internal duct for a cleaner, more realistic appearance.

Easier assembly, cleaner results

The main advantage of this accessory is the time and effort saved during assembly.

Instead of joining several plastic components and attempting to remove a difficult seam inside the intake, the modeller can install a single resin part with an already smooth internal surface.

The front lip fits neatly against the surrounding kit components, although some minor sanding and adjustment are still required to achieve a seamless exterior transition.

A refined original design

This seamless intake was the very first project developed by the creator of Laminar Flow Design, even before the brand officially existed.

The design has since been refined to improve fit, handling and preparation.
