The Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk.IX features recessed rivet detail on the rear fuselage. However, earlier Spitfire variants, including the Mk.Vc, featured distinctive raised, dome-headed rivets in this area.

This upgrade set allows modellers to reproduce this characteristic surface detail, making it an ideal complement to the Laminar Flow Design Spitfire Mk.Vc conversion.

Historically accurate surface detailing

The raised rivets are designed to recreate the dome-headed fasteners visible on the rear fuselage of early Spitfires.

By replacing the recessed appearance of the original kit with individually applied raised rivets, modellers can achieve a more authentic representation of the Mk.Vc's fuselage construction.

Assembly

Detailed placement instructions are included to guide the application of the rivets.

Recommended tool: 0.2 mm PCB drill bits (not included).
